Rumali Guest Farm is the host of the 3rd event in our trail run series, situated in the Keisie valley. This event debuts our very first trail, which began taking shape in April this year. Though still in its early days, the route promises a breathtaking experience and a fresh new challenge for runners and nature lovers alike.

Rumali Trail Run….recently taken over and family-run. We are working hard to breathe new life into the farm. We proudly raise ostriches in the summer, grow premium grapes for Montagu Wines and produce olives supplied to the renowned Willow Creek. Our three cottages offers peaceful farm stay experiences for guests looking to unwind in nature.

This event is pet-friendly, so if you want to bring your canine on a leash to run with you…you are at the right place.

5.6 km Fun Run | 115 m ascent

Scenic, social and suitable for all fitness levels

Perfect for beginners and casual runners, the 5km fun run shares the same route as the 10km course for the first 3.8km’s – featuring a mix of jeep track and flowing single track to get you moving.

At the 3.8km mark, you’ll continue along the farm roads, skipping the steep mountain climb. Enjoy gentle hills, stunning views and peaceful journey through olive groves and vineyards – offering a relaxed yet rewarding trail experience

9.5 km Trail Run | 458 m ascent

a Rewarding challenge with breathtaking mountain views. Our King stage!

This 10km trail run delivers a proper mountain adventure, featuring over 400 meters of elevation gain – most of it concentrated in the first 6km’s.

The route begins with flowing single track and jeep track sections to ease you in. At 3.8km a sharp right turn marks the start of a tough but rewarding climb, gaining over 200 meters in under 2km’s. This is where the real trail running begins.

From there, you will be treated to a dynamic mix of technical trails, rocky stretches and fast-flowing single track winding through rugged mountain terrain – the natural habitat of the Klipspringer.

The final 2km descents onto fast, open farm roads, making for a speedy finish to an unforgettable run!
